2025-09-18: “Public video shows a weak, brief waterspout formed just off of the beach near Ponce Inlet. The waterspout quickly moved onshore as a landspout, where it dissipated at the dune line. There was no damage and video shows winds were likely well below 65 mph.”

2023-07-22: “Multiple videos from the public of a landspout tornado that developed on the beach in New Smyrna Beach near 25th and 26th avenue beaches. The landspout quickly moved offshore and became a waterspout. No damage or injuries were reported.”

2022-07-19: “Local broadcast media relayed a report of several trees and additional large tree limbs that were downed in Edgewater near the intersection of 30th Street, Lime Tree Drive, and Mango Tree Drive.”
